Well we've got an animé discussion going on but I've noticed that we've not really looked much at western cartoons. I have to say that recently western animation has been pretty superb, my favourite show at the moment being Adventure Time which is kinda like the new Spongebob, but with a more epic, adventurous setting and is also absolutely hilarious with a fantastic voice cast including John DiMaggio and Tom Kenny as well as cool special guests such as George Takei and Ron Pearlman :x It is a very awesome show and advise you check it out. Not to mention for a superhero fix Young Justice is very good and for Comedy we've got new episodes of Futurama currently airing. Defo see this as aperiod of resurgence for Western animation :) |
