...I wanna have words with your dealer Shifts

Nintendo are dropping the RRP of the 3DS to Ł155 effective August 11th, just to wind up all those that paid Ł230 for their's, apparently.
However, to sweeten the blow, anyone who visits the 'eShop' gets a ton of free downloads, Sony style.

We have a proper IRC channel now. irc://irc.synirc.net/noe2, that's #noe2 on SynIRC.net

Well, I noticed this board, despite having a few anime fans on here, lacked a topic to discuss the seasons anime and since it is technically television, I am putting it here. So here it is, just in time for the newly started spring season. :D

The one standing out for me already this season is Hana-saku Iroha. Very unique, no huge purpose to the story, interesting characters and a great portrayal of an old fashioned work place. Something I am sticking to this season. :x

Dog Days is also a shocker for me this season, I didn't expect that I would like it, since it is very shounen and I prefer seinen more. However with good voice actors, a nice art style and an interesting story, littered with good comedy, I can't exactly keep away. :^0

A channel is also good. The art is well suited to it's style and it is very funny. Also it is great by virtue of having Lucky Star's, Tsukasa Hiiragi's voice actress in it, playing a very similar character to the one she played in Lucky star.

Dog Days is good, I like the action and the plot is pretty cool too :)

Hanasaku Iroha is really interesting, it's one of those anime that make me wanna get involved, like slap certain people XD

Under the Innocent Sky is a funny one, looking foward to seeing what else humour it has.

Stein's Gate is good, I just can't watch it because of it's style... it doesn't feel like anime.

All in all, the line-up looks good, but a few could be a let down.

Merry Christmas February!

Rie Kugimiya's voice was a nice good morning for me before I headed off to uni today. :p Extracting life seed indeed! XD

Hana-Saku Iroha had me hooked from the first scene of the first episode last week. Trust the studio who produced Type Moon's Nasu's Canaan and Key's Angel Beats! ^_^

I'm expecting good things from Steins;Gate, and I really enjoyed the first episode of A Channel. Dog Days was better than last week. That might hook me before long too. Of course, Gosick that started last season continues to be one of my favourites as well. Victorique! :x

Though I'm still waiting for the last two episodes of last season's Madoka Magica to air. I hope they're able to air them soon enough.

Astarotte no Omocha was indeed a nice treat for me too, it looks to be hilarious and yes Victorique still remains one of my fave characters. However, Kami Nomi was just uploaded onto Anime season so, Kami Nomi season 2 episode 1, GET!

That was great first episode to the second season, I remember why I enjoyed the first season so much. :D

By the way Andy, Tooru from A channel and Victorique have the same voice actress, Aoi Yuki.

That must be one of the reasons Tooru's my favourite character then. ^_^

I would Cipher, but I watched a bit of Digimon in the past when it was first on over here and I can't ever see the concept as more than a warped version of Pokémon that's not as good. So I don't really like it.

Actually as an animé I find Digimon works better than Pokémon.

Not watched any animé at all recently, just not had the time apart from watching a few old episodes of Zoids :|

I still have all my old models somewhere up in the loft including my cherished Shield Liger and Geno Saurer ^_^ Can't remember whether it was the models or the animé that got me into it but it doesn't matter as mechs=awesome :)

Basically this kid called Van finds this special Zoid called an organoid he names Zeek which allows him to pilot a high end zoid called a shield liger with relative skill. He also find a girl named Fiona who is looking for a place called Zoideve and along the way meets a badass mercenary named Irvine and a merchant called Moonbay. There is also a backstroy about an empire fighting a republic. and an all powerful Zoid called the Death Saurer which the bad guys want :) Was pretty much my favourite thing at one point and I have a collection of the model kits which drove my parents mad as I took them all over the place to acquire them :p
