The grail...shall be ours...

I am putting the discussion up here because...I am. Well after seeing the newest Skyrim trailer I am needing a new pair of jeans. It was just that amazing. The cities look mind blowing, as does the combat and character designs. The dungeons are looking good too, aswell as the armour and weapons. Hell it's basically all good. What is everyone looking most forward to in this game? For me it's the more strategic combat which seems to be better scaled, since bandits will no longer have top level weapons just because you do, all enemies will be properly scaled and difficult to fight, not the stupid battles of attrition you got in Oblivion. |

Never played any of the Elder Scrolls games apart from a few minutes of Morrowind, but Skyrim may just be the game to get me into the series :) |

I am looking forward to forgetting about the main quest and exploring the land with a bow and arrow. Thats all I did in oblivion. Plus the guilds were fun I guess, plus whatever new stuff the modders come up with, because they've already said it'll be as modifiable as oblivion was, so thats win. |

I 100% agree with this statement but swap out that bow and arrow for a shield spell and an Akaviri Katana. Also the main quest seems very interesting this time around because the country is embroiled in a civil war. :D |

It should be good and I'll probably like it for the same reason I love Fallout, but Oblivion never really interested me for some reason. |

Like I said maybe, depends whether I would play it if I did download it. Would be real handy to have a committee to help me decide things like this :p

The first meeting of the Picollo decision making commitee is now in session. All rise. Now be seated. First order of business, choosing whether Picollo should buy The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. This decision falls to Grand Mistress Feena. :feenahum: |

If studying politics has taught me anything it is that things are much better with committees :D or is that worse ?:/ |

Hmm... I don't know. It would be ridiculous if I have to refer to a committee every time I need to make a decision :p |

That shall be the commitee's motto. Anyway back on topic, the more I imagine skyrims godlyness the more I want to make sweet passionate nerdy love to everyone at bethesda Softworks. I recommend everyone watch the ingame trailer. :D |

I feel I should have replied to this topic earlier. After all, I am an Elder Scrolls fan of not inconsiderable devotion. The thing I'm most looking forward to is probably seeing what mods people come up with. The combat system looks pretty good, too. Well, that's a gross understatement. The whole game looks very good. I'll stop yammering now. |
