Well I've never had much of an interest in E3 which is why I've only just found out about this. I really like the idea because it means you can play it practically anywhere and have all sorts of different "arenas". For those who don't know, it's Ubisoft's attempt at a more realistic shooter which brings you away from the computer or TV and gets you to interact with the real world. Yeah, it's laser tag basically. But the fact that you should be able to install it on a more portable system such as a laptop, which can be safely stored in the boot of a locked car during gameplay, the possibilities are endless for your gaming environment, and with a range of 1,000 feet (~300m) from the antenna, that means that your overall game arena has an unobstructed width of 600m, which is actually quite big! There is already a laser tag arena on the other side of Norwich, just like everything else. It's a minimum of 45 minutes drive away. Everything useful is miles away from here. But the ruins of the old burnt down watermill which is within walking distance of me would make an awesome arena for this sort of thing. You get props which allow for challenges as well, including health and ammo packs. Maybe I'm getting too hyped up about this too early but I do like the look of it. I'll be keeping my eyes on it. Wonder how much it'll cost? Anyway, discuss. |

Do not try and eat the cake, only try and realise the truth.

I want this. Though it'll cost a fortune. I still want it. It's just a shame I hate laptops. |

Well you don't have to install it on a laptop. It's just that if you install it on a desktop PC, then you're limited to where that computer is. Hope you have a big house and/or garden! My house is right in the middle of my road anyway, so if I hosted a game of Battle Tag from my PC, it'd probably cover the whole street anyway. There are only about 40 houses on my road. A DS version would be good for portability. |

Yeah, I'd rather put it on a lappy with a great power source to move the "place of battle" as it were. |
