Game Title: Red Dead Redemption Number of Players: 1 Online Multiplayer 2-16 Price: £30-£40 Release: Out Now Console: Xbox 360, PS3 Quite simply a great sandbox game as is expected from Rockstar. The level of detail gone into the environments is amazing and the rich dialogue and characters makes for a truely realistic wild west experience. Playing the charismatic, if not somewhat reserved, character of John Marston is fantastic. The many different ways of earning your living, from Hunting or Breaking horses to Murdering and Bounty hunting, you will always find a way to amuse yourself and earn money as the main story progresses. The main flaw to find with this game is a rather slow travel system, getting places by horse is fine and all but it can take a fair amount of time, but fast travelling using a stage coach makes you miss out on road side encounters and Hunting as you travel. Wagons and Carts are an even slower way to travel, they also have diabolical handling and offer no benefits compared to the much faster and easier to handle horses. The combat of the game is quite simple, aim and shoot, although the dead eye system gives an air of the cinematic to this. As an example if you are riding your horse and set upon by a group of 3 Mexican banditos, aim your six shooter and enter dead eye mode and click the areas you want to shoot and then watch as your bullets hit dead on target and their bodies react perfectly to each hit, hell one of their bodies may even get trampled by their fellow banditos horses. then dismount, loot their bodies, shoot their horses, skin their horses and head off to whatever little latino bar you fancy and pound a few shots, couldn't be more simple ;) Overall i believe this to be a very fine and polished game with some of the best voice acting, characters and combat i have enjoyed in a long time, the story is also compartively good with some other games of similar genre's. Score: 9.3/10 Additional comments: Winchester lever action Rifle, delivering that old fashioned killing shot you know and love. One word summary: Fandazzydooby! Worth buying Yes. |

This game has been getting very positive reviews, and this one just makes me want it to be released on the PC even more. Damn you Rockstar, release it on the PC. |

I'd get this game if it weren't for the fact that it is sold out everywhere :p Though that may be a testament to how well recieved this game is being. I never played the first Red Dead but this looks good and I'm looking for a game from which I can act out my Clint Eastwood fantasies :D |

Played it today and yesterday, its very fun. XD Online mode is fun, you can just kill people randomly if you want. Not played singleplayer, but online mode is good. :) |

I've heard a lot about this game being good, but I won't be buying it, at least for a while. I have too many games left to finish as it is. :p |
