Even the names are getting more original =D TBH unless I see a pretty amazing region+Pokemon, I'm not going to be very excited.I've got a feeling this is when pokemon is going to start feeling stale for me. |

Hmm. I think it'll be similar to how the games are now, but with new pokemon. Although, I would prefer a Hoenn remake so I can have a secret base again. XD |

I'll buy it even if it's the same old formula. I'd like it to be something new, great, exciting. New battle system, pokemon on the overworld, etc. But since it's confirmed to be on DS rather than 3DS, I'm expecting more of the same. Well, as long as it has some nice ruins I'll be content, I guess. I'd be very very happy if they, like with the original GSC, had another region in addition to the new one. Preferably Hoenn, since that's the only one that hasn't appeared in gen 4, and because it's my favourite region. Black and White, eh. I'll be interested to see the legendaries they tie in to that. |

I think it's kinda' stupid it's not on the 3DS, as it's normally a new generation on a new generation, if you know what I mean. I'll be getting it, not sure which yet though. I'd like it if they made a game that took place after all the others and used all their regions, or maybe the two versions could be very different instead of slightly different, perhaps with each having two different regions after the main game. Maybe on white you could go to Kanto and Johto, and on Black you could go to Hoenn and Sinnoh. They'll never do such a thing though. I'd also like it if they had different types for starters. The Dark, Fighting and Psychic triangle instead maybe? They'll never do that either. I hope the fire type starter isn't retarded like Chimchar though. I wouldn't mind up to level 200, or a Bug Pokémon that evolves 3 times, but they won't ever do that. There's plenty more things they won't ever do. Let's name them all and then all that'll be left will be what they will do. |

Level 200 would be a bore, surely, since it's unlikely any Pokémon levels up to even 100 during the course of the previous games' stories. |

Really? IMO it looks awesome. Pokémon could do with more urbanisation. I mean, the cities as it is are barely hamlets :p... |

I have this deep sense of foreboding about the new pokemon designs, they were getting a little desperate in Diamond & Pearl, so in this one they will either be Spectacular or Horrific. We shall just have to wait and see, eh? :D |

I agree with Cieran. I mean come on, they have some really advanced technology (teleporters, being able to store physical things on the PC and in small balls, etc.) but many tiny towns, barely any vehicles other than bikes and very little else to show for it. I'm also liking the more side-on camera view in some places. It makes everywhere seem bigger. ^_^ |

I've always thought the magnet train was nice tech. I liked the old cutscene for it where the trainer bobbed up and down at the window. |

The side-on camera view is actually nothing new. With some AR hax you can do the same in any G4 thing. Indeed a friend of mine is currently doing the opposite (using the fixed "interior" camera) to map Sinnoh. In four years he's the first :p... |

I'm pretty sure the camera angle affects the quality of the graphics a bit.Well, it did in HG/SS I believe.Even so, I still prefer the old layout =/ |

Those scans have been cleaned up and officially released now. It's looking like it's gonna be city-based. The "bridge" is clearly a cycling road. And the one with the Pokémon centre outside, in the base of the tall building, looks like it's the waterfront on the edge of a CBD... |

I'd rather it were optional in Heart Gold anyway, so I won't really miss it. Apart from the time when I had my newly born Origin Giratina following me, slaughtering pidgeys, bellsprouts and other low level early game pokémon to the Imperial March from Star Wars. :p |
