Anyone here apart from me got this or planning to get this? I'm really enjoying it so far. I like the new battle system, and the new battle theme's great too! ^_^ The speed of the battles seem much faster and it seems much easier to die quickly if you get careless. The "Retry" option after Game Over is a life saver. :p I could say some more, but some people might want to discover certain aspects of the game themselves before talking about it. |

Would do if I had money to spare. Though I do intend to pick it up, I mean 4 years in waiting I may as well see how it has turned out :D I'm quite interested in it despite rumours of how linear it is, apperently there are no towns to explore ?:/ |

Yeah, it's true. It would be hard to make decent towns with full HD graphics right now apparently, and that's also the reason they can't remake FFVII right now too. Hopefully when HD graphics become easier to make they'll have big towns and stuff, maybe in FFXV or something. |

No i don't intend to get it. Not bought an FF game to date, people are trying to coax me into buying it, i might but it is a tertiary game for me, i will buy it after i have bought other games i am in eager waiting for. Dead Rising 2, Red Dead Redemption, Fable 3, Fallout New Vegas, Bioshock 2, Dragon Age: Origins Awakening, Metro 2033, Any and All DLCS released for Mass Effect 2, Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3. These games take priority :p if i have spare cash between these games, FF XIII will be first on the list. |

How's the soundtrack in your opinion? I listened to a few tracks but they weren't particularly impressive aside from the battle theme, so I'm wondering whether I should pursue it further or not. |

You're not at all worried about the gameplay or graphics? =/ Anyway I might get this game, after Battlefield:Bad Company 2 and Pokemon Soul Silver, so it could be a while.Plus it'd be risky as I've never played a FF, but this looks good XD |

Not at all since I'm not interested in getting the game. I'm not keen on RPGs at the moment, I'm mainly playing Touhou 7, the Metroid Prime games, and Starcraft. That doesn't mean to say that my collection of game music isn't growing though. |

Thing is though I'd rather they focused on the gameplay rather than trying to do everything in HD :) But I'll reserve judgement until I play it, just because a game is linear doesn't mean its bad. How is the dubbing? One thing that really annoys me in JRPG's is bad dubbing :) |

I don't find anything wrong with the voices for the characters. Lightning's is well suited, and none of the characters really have an out of place voice. I found Vanille's a little odd at first but I've gotten used to it. And the game's linearness hasn't been a downer so far at all for me. You forget about it when you get into it. The soundtrack isn't bad, Dan. Most of it suits the scenes and moments they are required for, I think. There've been no tracks so far that I've thought I didn't like. |

I'm just generally fed up of people going on-and-on about it... *Glares at Blaze* I felt they killed FF when they brought it into the third dimension... it should've stayed as sprites. :p PURELY for the Black Mage. :p |

Well I've finally played this game and I actually quite like it :) The battle theme is awesome if not quite as awesome as FF6's
