Just wondering is anybody else looking forward to it.It's probably going to be the game of the year, not that it has much competition.And it hasn't even been released and it's attracted a crap load of controversy because of a video of the first level that got leaked onto the internet. Really I am not at all interested in this game :| I don't own the first Modern Warfare game and this one doesn't look any more appealing to me. It probably will get game of the year as there is too much hype about it for it not to be. As for me, Tales of Vesperia looks like a tasty treat which I hope to get hold of soon. |

Preordered and going for 10th prestige again. I love CoD games.This looks abit like battle field company but the guns are easier to use because its CoD. Bring it on. |

Hopefully once this game comes out there will be a heap of my friends online at the same time to have huge killing matches like the good ol' days when cod4 came out. Unfortunately its going to be a shitty run up to christmas and I probably won't have any time :( Especially with the weekends only rule for the PS3, which is totally retarded because I always get anything important like homework done before I play game anyway. Haven't played a video game for about 2 weeks ¬¬ |

My brother is working back at Game and he has to go into work at 10 o'clock pm and control the crowds that are going to be queuing up to get the game until 4 in the morning when he opens the store , they got 200 copies of the game in and are expecting to get all of those go by 1 week or a week and a half! he might get a copy seeing as he has a work discount and he stole my X-box and but it in his room >_> |

Finally someone with a brain. I don't care one bit about MW2. Now Mass effect 2 is looking awesome, aswell as Fallout New Vegas, Fable 3 and i really wanna get Operation Flashpoint 2, since number 1 is such a good game, i would deffo put all these game well above MW2 |

Got the game today. Loving it, it is so much better than CoD4, Infinity Ward lived up to expectations. Multiplayer is unbelieveable, it doesn't seem real. Can't believe I can go upstairs just now and play that game, it's that good. Oh, I recommend pre-ordering from GAME. I only pre-ordered the game yesterday morning at around 9am, and I got the game today. My other friends who pre-ordered it weeks, maybe months before, only got it today, and not yesterday like GAME pre-orderers. |

Well according to everyone at school who owns it, it is the greatest thing ever :| Well until they make Modern Warfare 3 and then MW2 will quickly be dismissed as being "dry" and will quickly be forgotten :| Thing is I can't really be bothered to spend money on a game when I know with almost all certainty that they'll release an improved version the following year which I may as well wait for to buy :| Only then when that one is released I'll just be thinking the same thing as the last year and it goes in a continuous cirlce which just ends in me not ever buying any of the games :| And if what PJI says is true and the campaign only lasts for 4 hours It is not even worth my time thinking about it, as I don't have Live for online play and rarely have mates round nowadays to play local multiplayer so I'd rather invest that £40 in a meaty RPG which will last me for months even years :) Something I won't discard afer a year :p |

You keep saying that though..You'll buy next years.I doubt it mate because you like RPGS and it sounds like you hate it.CoD4 isnt been dumped just because of this game many still play it and go back now and again (mainly when the servers go down lolz) Campaign last 4hours? What difficulty are we talking here? Veteran mode will extend that alot.it is better than cod4 and waw but then it should be right? You dont make a new game for it to be worse. If your not bothered about it just go play your "meaty" rpg... |

If you have a ps3 like me, then modern warfare 2 will probably be the best investment of a game you'll have made in a long time (free online gaming). Now, i don't play videogames that much these days (prob about a month since i last played one), but i know I'll have 5 days worth of online gameplay on modernwarfare 2 by the time I've finished playing it, and that works out for value for money, very good. Then again, my pokemon ruby game had 180 hours of gameplay on it before i restarted it, but tbh MW2 is more sociable and more fun and less tedious. |

Well that is my point I'll probably never end up buying it because as I've said they always make an improved version which to me makes buying this version a bit pointless. But that being said I don't hate CoD, it's a very solid FPS series and I have no doubt that it is better than CoD4 (not that I've played it that much). But I'm not making a judgement on it yet as I haven't played it, but for me personally I just can't muster much of an interest for it as I'm not much of a multiplayer gamer. And no worries I shall enjoy my very meaty RPG, Fallout 3 :) Though of course I will still make time to write controversial comments on these boards :p |

Veteran might extend the campaign by an hour or two because you're dying a lot more. Whoopy! It's not like choosing another difficulty gives you more to do, it just artificially lengthens the campaign by making you repeat the levels. |

completed it on thursday on regular in 4 hours, spent 8 hours playing spec ops in one night. woke up at about 6 the next day, played for about 4 hours online multiplayer getting to level 18. I can see your point on the campaign being too short, I was fairly dissapointed. But then again, on waw I had something like 180 hours online. It wouldn't be worth playing without live or whatever ps3 online is called. btw, don't waste your time on veteran. Gamer points do nothing. Better wasting your time leveling up online or playing zombies. And stop complaining! Your like those fuckin milfs on the radio bitchin about it |
