I've noticed I've become more of a perfectionist whilst playing particularly with Resi, if the slightest thing doesn't go to plan I restart then try again, not an easy thing when you don't have save states.

Shamelessly bumping, it's because of this I now suck at the old sonic games.

*get hit, won't get special stage*

When I was a kid, I just wanted to see the ending. Now I know I can see the ending and won't be told to go to bed... I just need to get itdone.

(Though it does't apply to resi. I'm too good at it. That sounds arrogant but seriously, I end every game with enough bullets to do it all again and not pick anything up and enough first aid sprays to cure Wesker after RE5. I miss being sh!t at resident evil games now :( )

That said, RE3, hard mode, first nemesis fight. Take him down with handgun bullets... Killed no zombies up until then to conserve ammo. Have only some shotgun shells...

That guy is one cool dude.

I'm pretty sh!t at Resi :| Don't get me wrong I always have an abundance of ammo by the end and enough healing items for 3 playthroughs over but that comes with a recurring need to keep referring to gamfaqs and LP's on Youtube. The one I find hardest of all is RE3 because of it's randomised enemy and item placement. Whereas on RE2 and the like if I take too much damage or use too much ammo I can remember enemy placement and try again, not so for RE3. Plus Nemisis always kicks my arse, had to flee from him the first two times (so I didn't get the pickups) fought him the third and am now stuck with the fight against him in the alleyways just after you get the fuel for the train :( and I know there is a fight after that as well. I really do suck at that game :(
