Confirmed, Gold and Silver remakes are coming! Can't add it to the newbox as the ACP isn't on the forums.noe-version-2.com domain for some reason, and IF urls are filtered at school. They're called "Heart Gold" and "Soul Silver" and will be out in Japan in Autumn... |

This might be worth buying I guess. There's loads of music in the game I can't wait to hear remastered (particularly the Kanto normal trainer battle). Plus it's not as if there are many other decent DS games on the way... |

has any one checked serebii this morning pokemon sunday showed a image or video cant remember which and serebii had a screen shot, the trainers starter poke seem to be following him around just like pikachu did in yellow (Y) mannn i cant wait for this game the music will be good for sure :D |

I can't get the old opening out of my head. I keep seeing the three starters appearing and then Charizard blasting the screen full of flame! :p And with Pikachu knocking Jigglypuff off the screen too. ;) Hope they keep the same intro, just with improved graphics. ^_^ |

But won't that ruin most of the nostalgia you would get from the remakes? If you play it now, it'll be less nostalgia, more "oh yeah, I did that a few months ago". I know that I'd get more fun out of it by waiting till then, I guess I dunno about you. |

playing it now gives me the nostalgia, then replaying it in decent graphics with newer music and bonus features about a year from now gives me nostalgia++ We won't be getting it for a very long time, I can hardy remember the game. By the time we get it I won't recognise anything so if I play now and wait a year till it comes out I'll be able to recognise bits :D Plus a togepi only run sounds like good fun and its the only game I can do it in. |

I only started using more than one pokemon in Fire Red XD They were not really Solo runs though, more I was just to lazy to raise more than my starter...And there is a guy on youtube doing a Platinum solo run, his is Spirtofsteel, he's pretty funny. :D |

Wow, that's unlucky. Crystal is a good game. I wouldn't be bothered if it happened to my Blue or Red. Edit: No wait, I like Red. |
