They made the journey back home in a sombre silence. No-one said anything till they got back to the beach house. "He's really gone..." said Selly. She hadn't known him for long, but in that time, especially with all the flirting, they had become good friends. "I know, it's just...weird" added Cieran. He'd known Leo for even less time. He was the least shaken of anyone about his death. They put the car in the garage. Without saying anything Blaze jumped out of the door and into Selly and his' bedroom. "Should we do something?" asked Cieran? "No, leave him be. He's grieving," said Selly. The two of them went into the kitchen, and Cieran made some soup. "D'you wanna watch some TV or something?" he asked. "We're probably gonna be waiting awhile for Blaze to stop. "I think I'd better go in and talk to him actually," said Selly. "Okay, that's probably best then. Well, you know him best anyway." Selly went to the master bedroom, leaving Cieran alone at the dining room table. He drank the rest of his soup then left the rest in the pot for Blaze to have later. Sorry it's just a short one, I was just bored and felt like replying :p... |

Takoa, Laura and Tania found themselves standing outside of the city of Tsuba. They were shocked by what had just happened. First there had been an explosion, then a gigantic ball of energy had appeared in the sky. Takoa, Laura and Tania had been teleported to Leo and he had said some words to each of them before they were teleported to just outside the city. They looked back up at the energy ball and then saw it explode in a huge blast. The city was unharmed by the explosion but ArkAngel had been suposedly killed in the blast. He was no-where to be seen. They also noticed that Leo was no-where to be seen also. Then they thought back to what he had said to each of them and realised what had happened, that he had died. Killed in the blast but prevented any harm to the city itself. "Leo..." Takoa said sadly, staring in the air above the city where the energy ball had been before. Tania was crying on Laura's right shoulder, and Laura was conforting her. "He did a very brave thing." Laura said. "And he died to protect his city from." "Yeah. Even though it is an incredibly sad thing to happen, we can't just stay here mourning. I feel that I have to get moving now or I won't reach my destination far to the north in time. I feel that I have to get going now. Something tells me that I must." Takoa said, wishing he didn't have to go so quickly just yet. "Alright then." Laura said, solemnly. "Coming Tania?" She asked the porcupine. "No, I think I'll stay here actually." Tania said to them, drying her tears with a tissue that Laura had given her from the bag she carried. "This is Leo's home city. I feel that I want to live here like he did. Maybe I can help out after what happened. I will see you again though, I can feel it." "If that's what you want. We'll see you again somewhen." Takoa said to her. "Good luck with your life here." "Yeah, I hope you find it good." Laura agreed. Takoa and Laura walked off towards the north and Tania went off towards the city once more, this time to stay there of her own free will with no boundaries or extra laws than everyone else in the city. After a few hours of travelling later, Takoa saw a large building up ahead of them very far in the distance. The sky was getting very dark as night was approaching. "What is that place?" He asked, expecting no answer. "It looks like some kinda mansion or some other kind of large building." Laura said in reply. "It looks very far away still. Maybe we should check it out. We can't now though. It's too dark for that. We can check it out tomorrow though. Let's get some sleep now." Takoa suggested. "Yeah, you're right." Laura agreed. It was a warm night so they had no need for their tents. They just placed their sleeping bags on the ground and slept there. They talked a bit about all that happened before they went to sleep though. About the day's events, about the journey so far, about the rest of the group back at Angel Island. They wondered if everything had stayed peaceful or if something had happened to prevent the boredom that had been one of the reasons that Takoa had left in the first place. |
