Well, I'm thinking about getting an Xbox. My brother's getting a Wii (for some starnge reason, which I don't know of, he was bored of his DS after a month, I can't imagine this will last half the time) and I've decided I want a new console. Having never had an Xbox, it seems like a good idea. So, what games would you recommend?

Im guessing its a 360?
If it is then erm I'd reccommend
Bioshock (unless your pc can handle the requirements comfortably)
Skate - beats tony hawks hands down
Forza Motorsport 2 - If your a fan of Gran Turismo you'll feel right at home
And if you can pick it up cheap Halo 3 (I've always had a gripe at it, and still do (its still the most overrated game ever) but the onlines worth it if you can get it cheap)

And yeah, I play Bioshock on PC with everything on high settings. I refuse to pay to play online and despise Halo and everything about it. All of the best 360 games are out on PC.

Dead Rising is 360 only. :p And its a great game (if you enjoy killing zombies).

Why not get a 360?

I played it and was bored after 20 mintues. All I've seen is zombie killing. That doesn't make a good game.

Damn it, don't question why. Why would I want a 360? As I've said all of the best games (well, those that I think are the best, others think repetitve killing is fun :p ) are out on PC. And again, I refuse to pay for online play.

Did you play the story of Dead Rising or did you do the whole 'Go Nuts' style of playing it? The story is really, really good.

And to be honest Noolsey, no matter what we recommend you'll only moan so I won't try again.

I would have recommended Conker: Live & Reloaded (remake of the N64's Conker's Bad Fur Day, which I played and really enjoyed. Not played the Xbox version, but I assume they're practically the same) but I've been reading about the version differences on Wiki, and it turns out that the Xbox version probably wouldn't be as fun, as they've heavily censored it for the Xbox. Normally something such as this wouldn't bother me, but in Conker's BFD for the N64, half the comedy and jokes were caused by the lack of extreme censorship. They ruined the Great Mighty Poo song. :( What the hell rhymes with a rasping noise?! :annoyed: Nothing! T*** isn't even that bad a word really, plus it rhymes with "scat" which makes the song work. :p

EDIT: It's even censored on here? :_|

This has nothing to do with it anyway, it isn't a Xbox game. ¬_¬

Anyway, Takoa, what platform did you play it on then? I already have a 'Cube and PS2.

My N64 o' course. ^_^ I bought Conker for it just last year and it was still great despite the N64's oldness! :p

I am not getting a 360. I just want a few game recommendations. I'm not really interested in this current gen. All of the games I want are on older consoles or PC.

Probably not worth it, yeah. I checked Youtube, and the N64 game scenes are so much funnier. The Xbox spoils it with it's stupid noises in place of swear words, acting as censors. :( The game's fun, but it's not complete without the complete comedy.
