Ehehe. I don't really have a team as such right now. I'm trying to build a brand new team, in fact. One which, I hope, will be good enough for me to be able to take on my best mate, Matt, and win. He's a pretty tough opponent to beat, even though he doesn't especially have a set team right now either.
His Heracross is so tough. :sad:

Choose Articuno mate. Flying and Ice. Should crush him ;) ^_^

But I don't want an Articuno on my team. :p Plus the team's not going to be designed specifically to beat him, I merely hope that it will. Also, his Heracross has Stone Edge which would rape Articuno into the ground (not literally). -.-

Heracross seems to be tough popular pokémon. I currently want a new team aswell as I seems to be doing quite badly against some people in battles, and can easily truggle against blisseys.

I might go catch a Heracross from the Safari....

Heracross is a beast. Bandcross is capable of 2HKOing Skarmory, which is ridiculous. Tips for beating Hera:

1. Don't use Toxic/WoW on it. Or it will rape you. Bandcross, when statused, does upwards of 90% to Skarm. Which is ridiculously powerful.

2. Use Gliscor, or maybe Weezing. Gliscor is the best Heracross counter in the game. Weezing works too, resisting both it's STAB moves and not being weak to Stone Edge.

3. Aerial Ace Dugtrio eliminates any Heracross that isn't Scarfed.

I'm currently playing around with two teams, one which is much more reliant on countering everything in OU, with rock-hard walling.

That said, I've had quite a lot of success with an 'all-out attack' team I've been trying out recently, which relies on total prediction, by playing to resists instead of proper walling.

I've posted it in more detail here. I got a neat spitback from my Typhlosions, which was Mild instead of Modest, which apparently works just as well (As it means you can Focus Punch, even though you drop your defenses) so I thought I'd try and build a team round it.

I really do own, with 3x weaknesses to poison, bug and electric, and a 5x weakness to flying.

I am changing my team constantly due to being raped by lucky critical hits and ancient power boosts (Becca, 1st ancient power, boost, rest of her attacks were critical hit, got floored), so i had a serious think and now have a team that has won me many competitive battles :p
