Title: N64 games

Noolsey - January 30, 2008 10:07 PM (GMT)
I need to rebuy some games due to them not working for some reason. And I just want to expand my collection.

I need Lylat Wars, because it's stopped working (there's a battery in a cartridge?)

And I want to buy:

Superman 64

Can anyone suggest anything?

I have most of the common/popular games (not that I play most of them) e.g. Perfect Dark, Goldeneye, Super Mario 64, Banjo Kazooie, Conkers Bad Fur Day.

Do you want to buy Superman 64 because you heard it was one of the worst games ever and wanted to see if it was true? O_o

Of course. :p

Mario Tennis. That was one of my faves, excluding what you just listed yourself. 1080 Snowboarding is great too. And F-Zero X.

I have 1080, got it at the same time as my console, the Goldeneye edition. ^_^

Isn't Mario Tennis very expensive? Plus I'm not much of a Mario fan. I like some of the side scrolling ones. But the spin-offs? Don't get me started.

Do you like Zelda games?

Noolsey - January 31, 2008 09:17 PM (GMT)
Have them. Never play them much though now. OoT just isn't as good as they say.TP > OoT.

Mario Tennis is actually the only Mario spin-off I really enjoy.

I'm not too sure why Mario Tennis would be expensive... you'll have to check. Get F-Zero X too.

I agree with the TP better than OoT thing, but OoT is amazing. As it MM. And pretty much all Zelda games. Ahh the N64 :^0 First console our family had. I recommend Body Harvest. I haven't played it but it was the first sandbox game ever so it may be worth a look :p

Get Star Fox 64 (Lylat Wars). It's one of the best Nintendo 64 games, in my opinion.

I say you should get Conker's Bad Fur Day. ^_^ Hilarious and brilliant game. :p Plus it can be hard at times too. Especially at one point near the beginning involving bees. XD

Today, after realising I don't have the money to pay for everything I want I'm just going to emulate it all.

You have a good enough PC to do that. ^_^ My PC sucks for gaming. I wish I could do that. :p

Can't emulate N64 games? What PC do you have?! :p

See, if you didn't spend all of your money on...whatever you spend it on. Do you have a Wii? If you do, that's the problem, sell it and save for a custom PC. ;) Join us. When you start gaming on your PC, you don't go back. Ever.

That's a point. I've not exactly tried to emulate N64 games, as most of the ones I'd want to play I can/have already. I'd probably be able to emulate N64 games now that you mention it. :p

But I like my Wii. It looks pretty on my floor shelf. I won't be able to play Smash Bros. (when it finally comes out <_<) if I don't have a Wii. ;) Plus I'd need to have a larger income (rather than just my EMA because I'm lazy) to really be able to afford all the great parts needed to make a custom PC.

I plan to take a year off after A-levels to learn to drive, buy a car and make a £2000 PC. :D But I don't want to work. :p But, the promises of a PC like that... (I have it planned out ;) )

Try gamestation, Daz. That tends to have some N64 games I've seen Lylat Wars in there once.

I think Extreme G is also a really good N64 game - its basicly like F zero, with futuristic motor bikes and missiles :p Knife Edge is also a relatively good retro N64 game.

That was one of the three games I got with my N64. The controls were dodgy and annoyed me, but the weapons were good. The Neon bike was the best. :p It got really addictive once you got used to it.
