Queen Elizabeth II is apparently hooked on Nintendo Wii.

The People reports that a source at Buckingham Palace revealed that our monarch "begged to join in" playing the console when she saw Prince William on it.

"...she thought the Nintendo looked tremendous fun", the source apparently added. "The Nintendo"...

"She played a simple ten-pin bowling game and by all accounts was a natural... It was hilarious. William was in fits of laughter. He was enormously impressed at having such a cool gran."

"His [Prince William's] only difficulty now is prising it away from the Queen's clutches. She showed all the signs of becoming a Nintendo addict."

You can just imagine her importing Manhunt 2 and loving it!

i think this is a lie for the queen to recieve more cred, like the stunt of her christmas speach on youtube, a pathetic attempt of trying to relate to the younger generations and a way of her trying to be taken seriously, when we all know hardly anyone does.

It's clearly fake and they don't even have a picture to prove it's real!!!

And what makes it fake? So just because the Queen is playing it she needs a picture and a day in day out person doesnt..thats just weird logic.

Well, it's likely that it's hard to get a photo of the Queen all the time. I'm sure that she wouldn't want to be disturbed if she is playing Wii Sports. :p Would you like somewhen distracting you with a camera when you're trying to focus on bowling? ;)

It's just hard the belive that a Queen of the UK has a Wii!!!
