Title: Your First Ever Game Console?
__daz - November 26, 2007 06:27 PM (GMT)
What was your first ever game console?Mine was the Ps1...I played it loads. :0
You? :p
TimeShift - November 26, 2007 06:29 PM (GMT)
Gameboy. The very first. It was huge, like a brick! Compare that to the DS Lite.
Takoa - November 26, 2007 06:30 PM (GMT)
You including handhelds, or just home consoles?
Gameboy overall, N64 was my first home console. ^_^
I still love both of them today. ;)
EDIT: Ah, but TS, that brickiness made it special in my opinion. :p

As far as I remember, it was the Sega Megadrive. Such great games on that console - I still have it in fact. Castlevania Bloodlines, Ristar, Rocket Knight Adventures, they are some of my favourite games ever.
Takoa - November 26, 2007 06:35 PM (GMT)
I was the first person I knew to complete Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. ^_^ And I got it a few months after everyone else! :p And Super Mario Land was awesome and fun! :)
G_R7 - November 26, 2007 06:37 PM (GMT)
A Sega Master System. It was my brothers but we both played it a lot and I did buy a few games for it.
PJI - November 26, 2007 06:39 PM (GMT)
NES. God, how I loved Super Mario Bros. 3...
Noolsey - November 26, 2007 06:48 PM (GMT)
C64, still one of my favourites today.

Commodore 64. It had classics like Wizball, Gribbley's Day Out, Attack Of The Mutant Camels, Super Pipeline 2 and many more. Much better than the NES!
kevo99 - November 26, 2007 07:42 PM (GMT)
The gameboy was my first I never got tired of Pokemon Blue

I had those :p I remember I completed 6 Golden Coins years ago, but I never managed to complete Super Mario Land until this year. Of course, Super Mario Land was a great game - it was the inspiration for my Sky Pop fangame ;)

:0 I remembered you never played Sky Pop :_| I used the submarine (AKA Marine Pop) in level 4, where the boss (best boss of the game) was Kirby :p Pretty poor game relative to real professional games, yet a decent attempt (if I do say so myself) considering it was my first game. When I get a laptop, the 5th and final level (as well as hopefully a big improvement to the first 4 levels) will be rolled out, and I can finally make the credits (the bit I look forward to :p ).

I wish I could have played it. I still don't know why my computer won't play it. Hopefully I'll have a laptop myself by the time you've made the 5th one. ;)

Well, I suppose it was the NES/famicom... though I have no memory of playing it when I was young (I do play it now though occasianally) so I'll say the SNES which I have my first gaming memory on (Beating my brother as Vega on street fighter two when I was two years old) Street fighter two rules.

I only ever used my one to play Pokemon on as my hands where WAY to big to hold it. Pokemon hasn't got that problem.

GBC or the Nintendo 64... can't remember which :p
I think it was most likely the N64. I remember how cool Bowser looked on the box of it and got really annoyed when I realized we didn't have Super Mario 64 with it :p
princesskezzy - December 27, 2007 05:11 PM (GMT)

The graphics are only "Crap" Because that was how many years ago? Obviously something like the PS1's graphics are going to "suck" Nowadays. Because theres far better consoles out with better graphics ie 360 ps3.
And saying the N64's graphics were better dont you think thats slighty fanboyish?
And your brother broke your disc? How were sony to know that some person was going to try breaking it on purpose.Obviously they didnt.
I had a PS1 and it was my first console. And at the time however many years ago i loved it.
