Why is tetras so good Pokemon link is OK but tetras is the easyist game ever its been on every console ever made including some phones I don't have a I pod but im sure its on it even Mario had a tetras game DR. Mario and DR.Mario is coming to wiiware too why is it so popular

Its an old time game from many years ago.It is very easy to pick up and play.

Tetris? It's a classic! It is in now way easy, a real game of Tetris you'll never beat. ;) And of course it's the same thing repeated. All games are. Kill this, and do it over and over again until your level 30. Jump on the turtle, get the mushroom, repeat. It's a simple and challenging puzzle. Sort of the same way Sudoku is. You can play it for 5 minutes or an hour, there's no limit. It's like the perfect game. And technically, the best game of all time. I mean, how many sales have all the Tetris games had? They're essentially the same thing. So it has to be more than any other game with the amount of remakes and copies it has spawned.

It can be really really addictive so that people keep coming back for more. :p That's one of the reasons why it's still popular today. ;)

I was about when Tetris came out on the first GameBoy and can rememmber it well. It is still one of the most playable, fun games ever made, thats why its so important for gaming at the time and still is.

It's a classic. Duh. And It's Tetris. It is so good because it's a classic. Also, it was origionally invrented by a Russian. ;) It's easier in new games. But, the original Tetris (Which I own) is much more difficult.

iPod Kevo. iPod. It's not a console. It's an Mp3 with some extras. It's not been on every console ever made. Tetris itself is a Nintendo only thing. :p There have been many copies on different consoles, yes. Wow. It's on phones. Big deal.

Dr.Mario wasn't a Teris game though. Pills fell and then you lined the same colours up. Not rows... Then in Dr Mario, you need a special one to break those. Tetris, you fill a row and done.

Tetris is genius. Everything about it is superb - the simplicity, the music (at least on the Game Boy version, Music A and Music B (more Music A) were great - I'd love to see Music A performed at a Video Games Live concert, or at least hear it arranged for a (real, not synthesised midi) orchestra), everything, was just amazing. The satisfaction of beating Line Clear mode on "Level 9 High 5" as I called it was great, and in fact it still is, because I have it still :yay: The DS version is okay, although it has been made easier and so is less of a satisfying challenge unfortunately.
