Title: Which Is Your Favorite Metroid Beam?
Tenshi - October 24, 2007 06:36 PM (GMT)
My favorite beam is the Wave Beam.

Ice Beam and Plasma Beam which was perhaps a bit too good.

Grapple beam could be used for lots of stuff.
I mean, you could throw people around with it, throw stuff at people. Throw people at other people. swing and look cool...
The list goes on...
But, It's probably the Power beam. Sure, it's your average weapon. Thats why it rocks.
But, I'm voting Grapple anyway.

In Super Metroid, the Grapple Beam can damage enemies as well.

Plasma Beam for me. :p I love that beam and it's effects too. ^_^

The Super Metroid Plasma Beam is awesome.

I played Super Metroid for the first time about 2 weeks ago when they added it to the Wii's VC. Its a great game.
Anyway, on topic. That beam was great! Too bad you get it right at the end, it would have been VERY usefull to have for a bit more... Like the start.
Tenshi - October 25, 2007 12:43 AM (GMT)
Haha. It would be cheap if it was obtained at the start. Anyways, I love the Hyper Beam. It looks really cool.

I voted for the Phazon Beam.
For some reason, cancer-inducing lasers amuse me.

Personally, I liked the Dark Beam from Metroid Prime 2. In multiplayer, when charged up, it will freeze the opponent, and if this missed, blobs of the charged up Dark Beam will follow and hunt down the opponent, still damaging the opponent. I loved it.

Yep, it would be fun firing a beam that goes through enemies, and kills most in one hit at early on in the game. Anyways, I just wish that a better Metroid game was the "longest" Metroid game. Metroid Prime 2 is the longest.

I like the plasma beam the best. I can't remember the spazer/wide beam though, is it from MP hunters?

Yeah... only because it takes an age to hunt down the keys. MP1 is better.

No, I'd say MP3 is the longest. MP2 was certainly not the best though. What is the spazer/wide beam , is this something as a metroid fan I should know?
Tenshi - April 6, 2008 01:40 PM (GMT)
THe Spazer Beam/Wide Beam is a beam that lets you fire 3 shots at once. And just like the name Suggests, It covers a wider area.
ryuujin - April 6, 2008 07:54 PM (GMT)
I'm not sure really. But I'm going for Anahilator beam. Its pretty cool i guess.
