My problem is a rather nasally voice really. If I go deeper it's okay...

I sound alright, i think. I sound cool to myself, but i have a totally different voice when i hear myself recorded. This recorded voice isn't as good, but it's better than it was not long ago.

Of course, i will always sound like someone is firing my laughs like machine gun bullets when i laugh, and as such sound really really bad.

Everyone sounds different when they hear their own voice played back to them. It has something to do with the way your voices travels through your head to your ears so you hear it different to everyone else.

Haven't you got anything to show what you sound like then FTW?

Not as of yet. Mondays and tuesdays, we have optional I.T, in which we've fiddled with microphone sound recordings alot lately. I'll be away on tuesday (getting a passport photo taken in london and then delivering it because of the postal strike) but i'll see what i can do on monday.

Might record another time when I can be bothered to plug my eye-toy in the computer. Apparently I sound posher (kind of like an old man type posh) to people than I do in my head - I hate hearing recordings of myself because I find that I sound ridiculous in recordings (incidentally it was popular among chavs for a while to immitate me saying "How ridiculous" after I said it once). But apparently it's funny to hear me say "brap" (apparently a word common among chavs though it looks more odd written that it sounds when said), coupled with the classic chav hand-movement thing which I can't quite describe. I have a very deep voice in recordings. I think so anyway.

Apparently I have a strong Manc accent, and it's very deep too. I'll do a recording on Tuesday when I've got a day off college.

i wish i had a welsh accent. specifically a swansea one but i have one of the most london accents you'll probably ever hear. :_|.
