theres alot of reasons we like Mario first he owns the record of most games with his name on the box second hes Nintendo's mascot third in his series theres over 100 checters in it oh and maybe his just cool

I love Mario games for how good they are. When I was 5 and was given Super Mario Land I didn't say 'Why is that fat ass abe to jump so high?'. No! I played the game. I will always play them.

I like Mario because... :blink: Good question. I have no idea why I like him, but Mario isn't a bad character and I like him a lot. Plus his games always have an element about them that makes them completely nuts! :p (Everything has eyes, like in Banjo Kazooie! :^0 ) And that's a very good thing that adds to their fun. ^_^

I like Mario because i grew up playing his games, there is not one mario game that i have played and did not enjoy, they always deliver awesome gameplay. Mario is definatly the greatest video game character ever IMO

No. He moved to the Mushroom kingdom after he fell through a warp pipe he and Luigi were fixing in the real world. :p

Wasn't the whole "Mario is from Brooklyn" thing just from the film? The games he has been in have never said that he is from Brooklyn, only the Mushroom Kingdom.
