Title: Phantom Hourglass
Description: What's going on?

Dino Dan the Dinosaur Man - January 27, 2007 12:21 PM (GMT)
Does anyone know what's happening with this? It keeps getting delayed and I haven't heard anything about it for months.

Cieran - January 27, 2007 12:32 PM (GMT)
Lats I heard it's being released this October, but we probably won't see it till the year 2940 :|...

Jolly old Peker - January 27, 2007 12:33 PM (GMT)
Yeah it'd better hurry up coming out or global warming will takes its effects and Humanity will be extinct.

eamonn - January 27, 2007 04:19 PM (GMT)
My guess is Q1 2008, but I'm not basing it on anything.

clairebear25 - January 27, 2007 05:22 PM (GMT)
I heard that it's out in October but I'm not sure how true it is, I wish it would hurry up and be released already! :p

Blaze - January 27, 2007 05:28 PM (GMT)
I'm not sure when it'll be released but I can't wait.
It looks fun! :)

Dino Dan the Dinosaur Man - February 3, 2007 12:20 PM (GMT)
I hope that this delay is for improvement, rather than to sort out some massive error. But, if they need to sort out errors, then I can easily wait.

__daz - February 3, 2007 12:49 PM (GMT)
Not sure.

not bothered ever. :)

josh2005 - February 3, 2007 01:06 PM (GMT)
Might not get it, I used my DS las night nd couldnt get used to the screen :(

sqeak - February 3, 2007 04:17 PM (GMT)
I just realised something, theyre gunna wait for globabl warming to release it, then when the world is flooded it will be more realistic!

moleinhole - February 23, 2007 01:48 PM (GMT)
last year they said march this year, now they say 2008 :(

mark1006 - February 23, 2007 02:08 PM (GMT)
Well I am looking for my first Zelda game so they better hurry up!

2008?! I'm starting to think that it isn't coming at all.

mark1006 - February 23, 2007 07:26 PM (GMT)
Lets take mario hostage so the game makers will hurry up!

LaraCroft Girl - August 19, 2007 10:28 AM (GMT)
LOZ Phantom Hourglass is coming out soon!! It will be a great game i'm sure. Any game with Link in is a good game and also sword fighting is alot more pleasing then guns!

I like the idea of drawing on the map to show where you have been and also the control style will use the touch screen... neat

Ever heard of the Philips CD-i? :|

LaraCroft Girl - August 19, 2007 10:51 AM (GMT)
I probably have, but I don't know what it is...

Mudson - August 19, 2007 12:02 PM (GMT)
This is possibly my most anticipated game.
I for one will be importing from America ASAP :p

Look at that: a prediction (almost).

Anyway, is a release confirmed for america? I plan to import, no matter how much the American box designs look out of place next to the UK ones :p .

mark1006 - August 19, 2007 12:43 PM (GMT)
I for one do not know if I am getting it.Starting off in an island were there are invinseble gaurds everywhere. Not really my type.

andy - August 19, 2007 07:56 PM (GMT)
I'm still unsure as to wether i will get this game.having to play all the game with the stylus... I don't know it might make it better but we'll have to wait and see.Besides probably have more than enough time to decide wether I'm going to get it.

Noolsey - August 19, 2007 10:34 PM (GMT)
It won't be stylus only movement. I want this to be a deeply puzzle based game, it's what the DS is meant for. And it could work well.

andy - August 20, 2007 10:49 AM (GMT)
Oh right well thats good might get it then.

Mudson - August 20, 2007 10:52 AM (GMT)

I was told it was :p
I think the buttons are not used at all. Possibly for weapon storage. Im not sure.

Noolsey - August 20, 2007 11:38 AM (GMT)
Hmm...if it is, then that has to be the most retarded thing since the creation of Mario.

andy - August 20, 2007 11:39 AM (GMT)
Aah confused now!
Thought it was all stylus play so now back to probably not getting it :|

Mudson - August 20, 2007 11:41 AM (GMT)
I strongly dislike the whole stylus thing for this game.
But its zelda ;)

Cieran - August 20, 2007 11:43 AM (GMT)
I know, although all the reviews say it works well...Still, I would definately prefer a D-pad option, I mean, how bad was the stylus control in Super Mario 64DS? Mind you, it's not so bad in ACWW (to which the graphics and movement look remarkably similar to this)...

andy - August 20, 2007 12:03 PM (GMT)
Yeah it does have good reviews, some even saying its the best game for DS,but using stylus controls for moving haven't exactly been the best so far.

Noolsey - August 20, 2007 02:42 PM (GMT)
If it is then I'm suddenly less interested in it. By a large amount. Stylus should be for puzzles. I always use the D pad on Final Fantasy 3 because, although the movement is well done; I dislike it like that. Meh. It was a choice between this and Assassins Creed, and I already knew that AC had the upper hand.

The Touch only controls in PH work great. Its just annoying at the start of the game.

EDIT: You can use the D pad and Your A B X Y buttons to open weapon storage's, but its much easier to tap the icons.

Good choice Noddles Noosley!

AC is proper good! :D

PH from i've seen isn't too great....

ACx7 - October 23, 2007 05:35 AM (GMT)
I have not fully played though PH yet but personally, I love the all touch controls. I think that more games need to be made this way

Tenshi - October 23, 2007 05:40 AM (GMT)
Phantom Hourglass is the best DS game I have ever played. Best Touch controls ever IMO. If only it was more challenging and longer.

G_R7 - October 23, 2007 11:11 AM (GMT)
I was amazed on how well the touch conrolles worked, far better than ACWW. Its clear they look the ACWW contolles and just improved them for Zelda and it worked, I'm not bothered about not being able to use the D-Pad.

Game Master - October 23, 2007 11:16 AM (GMT)
Is it that good???? If it is i might buy it.i've had enough of pokemon and AC:WW and final fantasy 3 it just a little tricky for me but i havent played it in ages.

Dark Lugia 2 - October 23, 2007 12:56 PM (GMT)
^ It is. It's the best ds game evar ^_^

Dino Dan the Dinosaur Man - October 23, 2007 06:48 PM (GMT)
Just completed Zelda PH. Not much to say really, although it was very easy and very short :| The final boss was okay, but he's not an impressive main enemy in a game - I much preferred Vaati :p At least the music was okay... I'll probably play through it again - keep me occupied for about 3 days. But really, it was a really short experience considering how long we've waited for it. Still one of the best DS games though ^_^

Tenshi - October 24, 2007 06:02 PM (GMT)
I loved how the dungeons were creative and a little different from your typical Zelda dungeon. My favorite dungeon was the Temple of Ice. That is the most creative dungeon in the game IMO. My only gripe was going to one dungeon over and over. It became tedious after a while.
